Practice Survival after COVID-19:  Build Value Through Diagnosis and Education

Course Description:

This team-focused course will help you find the myriad of opportunities for increased production in your dental practice, from underutilized CDT codes to undiagnosed dentistry.  You don’t need to revamp all of your practice systems to dramatically change the production in your practice.

This lecture will demonstrate how, when we step back and look at the patient as a whole and try to find the “why” of the situation, we end up doing the best for our patient, which often is most productive for the practice.  This course is clinically-oriented and reveals how a team approach to diagnosis and treatment planning generates more production than any “gadget” or novel practice system.

Dr. Perry promises to show you a few simple techniques that will greatly increase your production per patient and decrease your overhead.  You will leave with a clear idea of your practice’s true potential and a means for our practices to survive after the COVID-19 crisis.

 Objectives:

At the completion of this course, participants should understand:

-       Treatment planning for success.

-       The ideal comprehensive examination.

-       Tools for diagnosis, documentation, and education.

-       How to prevent treatment from “falling through the cracks”

-       Empowerment of the team and maximization of their skills.

-       How to find the “why” and turn it into successful, productive dentistry.

-       How to run successful staff meetings and huddles and leave with checklists for these key interactions.
