This module covers information about NAS and Newborn Opioid Withdrawal Syndrome (NOWS). It describes symptoms and discusses the frequency at which NAS occurs and costs associated with the syndrome. It explains how NAS is assessed and managed and also discusses ways to eliminate barriers to healthy maternal-infant attachment.
