Opioid Overdose Education/Prevention Training
Target Audience: Physicians, registered nurses, social workers, licensed chemical dependency counselors, licensed professional counselors, peer support providers
- Recall signs and symptoms of opioid overdose and appropriate administration of Naloxone
Criteria for Successful Completion:
- Complete the CE evaluation
- Must be seated no later than 10 minutes after the start of the activity
The joint providers of this activity must ensure that CE activities are independent of the control of commercial interests. All speakers and planning committee members for UT Health San Antonio jointly provided programs are expected to disclose all “relevant relationships” as financial relationships in any amount occurring within the past 12 months that create a conflict of interest. University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio School of Nursing is approved by the Texas State Board of Socials Workers Examiners to provide Social Worker CE.
