Full course description
We invite you to participate in a 2 hour training on A Harm Reduction Approach to Overdose Prevention.
Overdose is the leading cause of injury death among U.S. adults; surpassing deaths caused by motor vehicle crashes. Unfortunately, during the global COVID19 pandemic, these numbers have only continued to climb with a 42% increase in U.S. overdose deaths being reported in May of 2020. During this inter-professional Harm Reduction and Overdose Prevention virtual training learn how to reduce stigma and harm, identify and respond to an overdose, and administer the life-saving medication-naloxone.
