We invite you to to participate in a 2 hour training regarding Advance Care Planning for People Living with Dementia.  Overview of advance care planning (ACP), current state of ACP in U.S., long-term care settings and in the context of dementia and strategies to facilitate ACP for dementia populations

Presenter: Kristen Overbaugh, PhD, RN, ACNS-BC, CHPN, is an Assistant Professor at La Salle University. She is board certified as an adult health clinical nurse specialist and hospice and palliative care nurse. She has over 25 years or nursing experience working in practice, management, and educator roles and her scholarly work has focused on improving psychosocial outcomes for individuals living with chronic illnesses, including heart failure and dementia, and their family members, and advance care planning.
