This course describes the Mommies Program as it exists in San Antonio (Bexar County).  It will provide details about program design so that it may be replicated in other communities that want to improve outcomes for families impacted by Neonatal Abstinence Syndrome.  Information about the essential components that make up the program including team members and their roles, and how the program works to decrease harmful stigma will be provided. Curriculum topics covered in the Mommies Program, services offered by the program, and outcomes for women and their infants are also addressed in this course.
